And we think how we gather matters, too.

For us, hospitality is about more than simply bringing people together.

It’s the way you make someone feel when they walk through the door. A welcoming space, thoughtful details, and an invitation to stay awhile.

We think hospitality is a bit of a lost art. In a world that moves so quickly, inviting people into our homes and gathering together isn’t quite as common as it used to be. But there’s something special about making the time for people, and it doesn’t have to be perfect or complicated. Sometimes, it’s simply taking a little extra time with the details and creating a space that feels warm, personal, and inviting.

And that’s the heart behind Linen & Lumber.

Whether it’s an intimate dinner party, a fun birthday gathering, a dream wedding, or an ordinary night with people you love, we want to help create a setting that feels personal and special.

And we’re incredibly grateful that we get to bring Linen & Lumber to life.

So, hi! We’re Nate and Abby.

We met on a blind date and got married on July 4, 2026. Two months later, we had the opportunity to take on Linen & Lumber. A little crazy? Probably. On brand for us? Absolutely.

Abby is the creative one. She loves dreaming up the details and making spaces feel cozy, thoughtful, and fun. She’s always noticing the little things that can make an event feel more personal and loves turning an idea into something people can actually experience. Nate is the hands-on one—he builds, fixes, solves problems, and somehow always seems to know how to make things work when Abby comes to him with her latest idea.

We both do a little bit of everything around here, and together, we think we make a pretty good team—if we say so ourselves.

We’re based in Silverton, Oregon, and happy to travel and deliver throughout Oregon. Wherever you’re gathering, we’d love to be a small part of it.
